2014-2015 Scholarships Announcement

University College Cork has a long and distinguished tradition of teaching and research in Irish Studies. This expertise has now been harnessed to develop an innovative new MA programme – Irish Studies: Identities and Representations – which is running for the first time in 2013-2014. The programme investigates how Ireland’s complex and contested pasts speak to its present and to possible futures. The result is a distinctive and compelling intellectual experience.

Six scholarships will be available for the 2014-2015 academic year:

  • Three scholarships of €3,000 each for non-EU students
  • Three scholarships of €2,000 each for EU students

The scholarships will be awarded in open competition.

Successful applicants to the programme will automatically be in contention for a scholarship.
However, to be in contention non-EU candidates must apply by Friday 28 March 2014. The  non-EU awardees will be contacted in April.

Successful EU candidates will be in contention for a scholarship if they apply before 01 June 2014 and the EU awardees will be contacted in June.
