On Monday, March 7th, 12:30, at the Union League Club of Chicago, UCC in collaboration with Education in Ireland, the other Irish universities and the Irish Fellowship Club of Chicago are delighted to host lunch for counselors and principals in the mid-West. We’d love to see as many of you there as possible. RSVP now to firstname.lastname@example.org or 212.546.0471.
This visit follows on from last year’s very successful breakfast for counselors and principals, and the student fair in the McDonald’s Campus in Oak Brook, where we received such an enthusiastic response from counselors, students and parents alike. Meet with us on Monday for your chance to learn all about full-degree opportunities for your students in Ireland.
Why are we visiting Chicago? The Irish universities are starting a weeklong tour of the US in Chicago, a city close to many Irish hearts. UCC President, Dr. Michael Murphy, spent 8 happy years at the University of Chicago, County Cork in the south of Ireland is partnered with Cook County in Illinois, while Galway city in the West of Ireland is Chicago’s sister city. But it’s the warmth and hospitality of Chicagoans that keeps us all coming back and makes UCC eager to welcome more students from the mid-West to our beautiful campus.
