Your days at university should be the best days of your life. But it’s not always a bed of roses between the loneliness of leaving behind your family and friends in your home place to the challenges of balancing academic work and your social life, not to mention learning how to stand on your own two feet. If you discover that you need a helping hand with learning new skills on coping or that you just need to improve the skills that you have, then UCC’s LifeMatters programme is here to help.

The programme has been shown to reduce stress in students, to increase ones sense of self worth and confidence and improve Emotional Intelligence. Now, who wouldn’t want to gain all those benefits!
