Just getting over the excitement of Ireland being Frommer’s readers top choice as a destination spot for 2011, Ireland is awarded yet again by holidaymakers. Earlier this month, Ireland was given the award of ‘Most Popular Destination in 2010’ at the annual Special Trip: World Travel Awards in Shanghai. The votes are based on traveler’s experiences as well as votes by travel experts from China. Now Ireland is creating a buzz within China as an upcoming must-see travel destination for 2011. Plus, the Global Times newspaper calls it the ‘Most creative destination for 2011’ while aa popular Beijing newspaper, Life Style as being the destination with ‘most potential’ in 2011.
